
Sam Sianata: The Trillion Rupiah Painter
1. Multitalented Artist
Nicknamed the “Trillion Rupiah Painter” because his work, such as Go Green Taruparwa, is priced at 1 trillion rupiah. He combines painting and music within a single theme, known as a pioneer of Dual Artworks. Famous works: Go Green Taruparwa, The King of Love, Tuberose Flower, Footprint, Freedom Shirotol Mustaqim, Wave of Blessings, Happiness.
2. Environmental and Social Activist
The painting Go Green Taruparwa was inspired by tree planting on the slopes of Mount Merapi after the 2010 eruption, alongside Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X and community leaders. He is active in peace and interfaith harmony movements with the theme We Are All Brothers. The Go Green Calvin Foundation, which he founded, won the best organization award in 2011.
